Option 1: Four years of teaching/research experience after D.M./M.Ch.
Option 2: Three years of teaching/research experience after a 3-year D.M./M.Ch.

For Non-Medical Candidates (Associate Professor in Physiology):
Postgraduate degree in Physiology.
Doctorate degree from a recognized university.
Six years of teaching/research experience in Physiology after the doctorate degree.

Hospital Administration (Assistant Professor):
Medical qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent.
The applicant must M.D. in Hospital Administration
or Master’s in Hospital Administration.
Three years of experience in the subject.

Super-Speciality (Assistant Professor):
Medical qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent.
D.M. or M.Ch. in the respective super-speciality.
Experience: One year (or more, depending on prior qualifications).

Non-Medical (Assistant Professor in Various Subjects):
Postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline.
Doctorate degree.
Three years of teaching/research experience.
