Leave Entitlements: Contract personnel are entitled to the following leaves:
- 12 days of Casual Leave
10 days of Sick Leave
Additional leave types such as Earned Leave encashment, Maternity Leave, Quarantine Leave, Extraordinary Leave (EOL), and Special Casual Leave are also admissible as per leave rules.
Medical Benefits: Contract personnel receive medical benefits, including: - Medical coverage for self during the first year of engagement.
Medical coverage for self and family (spouse and two dependent children) from the second year onwards.
The medical benefit for OPD (Outpatient Department) cases is limited to a maximum of one month’s pay per year.
Medical insurance is provided for In-Patient Department (IPD) treatments during the tenure of engagement.
- Personal Accident Insurance: Contract personnel are covered under the Group Personal Accident Insurance scheme provided by POWERGRID.
- Provident Fund (PF): Contract personnel are eligible for PF deductions at a rate of 12% of their Basic Pay and Dearness Allowance (DA) each month.
- No Additional Allowances: Contract personnel are not eligible for any other allowances, benefits, Performance-Related Pay (PRP), or incentives apart from those explicitly mentioned in the provided information.
