Indian Army TES How to Apply

• Apply online at Click Here
• Fill in personal details and read terms.
• Edit application until the closing date.
• Receive confirmation after submission.
• Print two copies of the application.
• Bring one copy to the SSB interview with necessary documents.
• Retain the second copy for reference.
• No need to send a hard copy.
• Carry 20 self-attested passport-size photos.
• Submit only one application; multiple submissions result in cancellation.

• Type of Commission: Successful completion of the 4-year course grants cadets a Permanent Commission in the Army with the rank of Lieutenant.
• Training: The training spans 4 years and includes:
  Integrated Basic Military Training and Engineering Training for three years at CME, Pune/MCTE, Mhow/MCEME, Secunderabad.
  Basic Military Training & Engineering Training for one year
• Award of Degree: Cadets receive an Engineering degree upon completing the 4-year training. No ante-date seniority is granted based on this degree. A maximum of two relegations is permitted for academic reasons. Further academic relegation results in withdrawal from training.
• Cost of Training: As of 2021, the cost of training is ₹13,940 per week during the candidate’s stay at Cadet Training Wings/Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The state covers the cost, but candidates withdrawing for personal reasons will have this cost recovered from them.

• Qualification Grant: Abolished; to be replaced by the Higher Qualification Incentive (HQI), pending MoD’s order.
• Flying Allowance: Army Aviators receive ₹25,000 per month (Level 10 and above).
• Siachen Allowance: ₹42,500 per month for personnel in Siachen.
• Uniform Allowance: Replaced by Dress Allowance at ₹20,000 per year.
• Rations in Kind: Provided in both peace and field areas.
• Children Education Allowance (CEA): ₹2,250 per month per child for the two eldest surviving children, with reimbursement once a year, and a certificate from the child’s school head confirming attendance during the previous academic year.
