Recruitment Information
Training Period & Stipend: Central Railway Recruitment 2023
- Act Apprentices will be paid a stipend as per RBE No. 202/2019 dated 26/11/2019 as follows:
- National or State Certificate Holder: ₹7,000 per month
- Note: The stipend increases by 10% during the second year of apprenticeship and 15% during the third year.
Training Accommodation:
- No hostel accommodation will be provided. Selected candidates must arrange their own accommodation during training.
Agreement of Training:
- Before starting apprenticeship training, selected candidates must enter into a Contract of Apprenticeship Training.
Contract Termination:
- If the employer fails to fulfill the contract terms, the candidate will be paid apprentice compensation.
- If the apprentice fails to fulfill the contract terms, the candidate or their surety must pay a determined amount for training costs.
Employment Obligation:
- Employers are not obligated to offer employment to apprentices after completion of training.
- Apprentices are not obligated to accept employment from the employer.
Minor Candidates:
- If the selected candidate is a minor, their guardian must enter into a Contract of Apprenticeship with the employer.
MEDICAL FITNESS
- In terms of Railway Board’s letter No. E(MPP)/2009/6/14 dated 04/12/2018 to bring medical certificate as per the attached with the notification, at the time of document verification
- The medical certificate should be signed by Government authorized doctor (Gaz.), not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon of Central/State 16
Hospital” without medical certificate, as referred above, no document verification will be conducted and candidature is liable to be cancelled.
