General Information
Selection Process
- Based on GATE 2023 score (normalized out of 100).
- Behavioral Assessment.
- Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview.
Eligibility
- Must qualify in GATE 2023 and score valid marks.
- Language choice: Hindi or English.
- Information and interview call letter through POWERGRID Online Application System.
Empanelment
- Behavioral Assessment impacts the interview.
- Qualification in the Personal Interview is essential.
- Both GATE 2023 score and Interview performance are necessary.
Important Note
- Only GATE 2023 score (Normalized Marks out of 100) is valid.
- GATE 2022 or earlier scores are not accepted.
Training Period Pay
- Pay Scale: Rs. 40,000/- – 3% – 1,40,000 (IDA).
- Basic Pay: Rs. 40,000/- with IDA, HRA, and Perks (12% of basic pay).
Post-Training (Engineer – E2 Scale)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 50,000/- – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA).
- Comprehensive compensation package including allowances and benefits.
Additional Benefits
- Housing options: Company accommodation, HRA, or mobile facility reimbursement.
- PF, Gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment, Group Insurance, and medical facilities.
- Access to loans and advances, including House Building Advance.
Service Agreement Bond
- Mandatory bond to complete training and serve for at least three years.
- Bond amount: INR 5,00,000/- for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS, and INR 2,50,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, plus taxes.
Identity Verification for Interview
- Identity will be verified using GATE-2023 admit card and Original GATE-2023 score card.
- Bring a valid photo ID to the interview.
- Photocopies of ID won’t be accepted.
- Without these documents, you can’t participate in the group discussion and interview.
