Important Note UCIL Recruitment 2023
First Preference Candidates belonging to the Land Displaced Category are given the highest priority.
Second Preference Local candidates living within a 5-kilometer radius of UCIL units and who belong to project-affected families (as per the R&R Policy) in the Jharkhand region are the second priority group.
Third Preference The third preference is given to the wards of UCIL employees. Relevant documents for this preference will be verified during the joining process.
Qualification: Matric (10th Standard) pass and ITI pass in a relevant trade from NCVT.
Age: 18 to 25 years as of October 13, 2023, with possible age relaxations for specific categories as per Government of India guidelines.
Previous Training: If you are already undergoing or have completed apprenticeship training under the Apprentice Act, 1961, you cannot apply.
Stipend: Stipend will be provided as per the rules defined in the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
Selection: Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in your ITI qualification.
TA/DA or Accommodation: No Travel Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance (DA), or accommodation will be provided to candidates during the application or training process.
For candidates falling under the first and second preference categories (Land Displaced and local project-affected families), you may need to provide hard copies of relevant documents. These documents should be sent to the Central Personnel Section of UCIL, Jaduguda, Jaduguda/Narwapahar, and Turamdih, via post. Make sure to do this before the last date of submission mentioned in the advertisement.

Land Acquisition Certificate (for Land Displaced Persons) or Aadhaar Card (for Project-affected families) and UCIL ID card of an employee (for Employee’s son).
Choose your desired trade for Apprenticeship Training by clicking on the “Apprenticeship Opportunities” tab. Select one or more UCIL units (Jaduguda, Narwapahar, Turamdih) where you wish to undergo training before the deadline on 12.11.2023. - Only applications submitted between the date of this advertisement and 12.11.2023 will be considered. Previous applications won’t be accepted; reapply if necessary.
- Applications received after 12.11.2023 will not be considered for scrutiny.
