Ans- RBI Assistant Salary is Selected Candidates will draw a starting Basic pay of ₹20,700/–

RBI Recruitment Information
Eligibility criteria :
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- You can also apply if you’re a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan.
- If you’re a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of staying permanently, you’re eligible.
- People of Indian origin who moved to India from specific countries (like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and others) with the plan to stay permanently can also apply.
Educational Qualifications :
- You need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a minimum of 50% marks (if you’re from the SC/ST/PwBD category, just passing is enough) and you should also know how to use a computer for word processing.
- If you’re an Ex-serviceman (except for dependents of ex-servicemen), you should either have a graduate degree from a recognized University or have passed the matriculation (a basic school level exam) or its equivalent in the Armed Forces and have served in the defense forces for at least 15 years.
- If you’re applying for a job in a specific recruiting office, you should be good at the language of that state or any of the states under that recruiting office. This means you should be able to read, write, speak, and understand that language.
RBI Assistant Exam Information
1. Language and Test Format:
- The online tests (except for English Language) will be available in both English and Hindi.
- You need to pass each part of the Objective test separately.
2. Preliminary Examination:
- You must pass the Preliminary Examination to be eligible for the Main Examination.
3. Negative Marking:
- For wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main), 1/4th marks will be deducted.
4. Shortlisting:
- The bank will shortlist candidates for the Preliminary (about 10 times the vacancies) and Main examination (about 2 times the vacancies) based on their scores.
5. Information Handout:
- Detailed information about the examination will be provided in an Information Handout available on the RBI’s website along with the Call Letter.
6. Roll Numbers:
- Successful candidates’ roll numbers will be posted on the bank’s website.
7. Equating Scores:
- If the exam has multiple sessions, scores will be equated to account for any differences in difficulty.
8. Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
- Candidates who perform well in the Main Examination will be called for LPT.
- LPT is mandatory, and no exemptions will be given.
- Final selection depends on online exam performance, passing LPT, medical fitness, and document verification.
9. Medical Fitness:
- Selected candidates must meet the bank’s medical fitness standards.
