Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
NABARD Grade A Bharti 2023
Candidates must have the required educational qualification as of September 1, 2023.
The result of the final term/semester/year examination for the required educational qualification must have been declared on or before September 1, 2023.
Candidates whose final year/semester results have been declared after September 1, 2023, are not eligible to apply.
Choice of Discipline:
Candidates can apply for Assistant Manager (RDBS) from among the options given in Table-I (only one option).
Candidates applying for Assistant Manager (RDBS) – General cannot apply for another discipline, and vice versa.
Single Discipline Choice:
Candidates can apply only for ONE Discipline of their choice.
In case of multiple applications within disciplines, only the last application submitted will be considered valid, and the fee against all other applications will be forfeited.
PWBD Candidates:
PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) posts will not be eligible for relaxation in the percentage of marks in Educational Qualification.
They may, however, be eligible for relaxation in Age and Fee.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Preliminary Examination Structure for Grade A (RDBS) :
i) Qualifying Section – Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge,
Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making
ii) Merit Section – General Awareness, Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India),
Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India.
iii) Shortlisting of the candidates for the Main exam will be based on marks scored in the
Merit section only.

Agriculture & Rural Development:
Agriculture: definition, meaning and its branches, Agronomy: definition, meaning and scope
of agronomy. Classification of field crops. Factors affecting crop production, Agro Climatic
Zones; Cropping Systems: Definition and types of cropping systems. Problems of dry land
agriculture; Seed production, seed processing, seed village; Meteorology: weather parameters,
crop-weather advisory; Precision Farming, System of Crop Intensification, organic farming;

a) Soil and Water Conservation : Major soil types, soil fertility, fertilisers, soil erosion,
soil conservation, watershed management;
b) Water Resource: Irrigation Management: types of irrigation, sources of irrigation,

c) Farm and Agri Engineering : Farm Machinery and Power, Sources of power on the
