CISF Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• 12th pass from a recognized institution.
• Must have represented at the state, national, or international level in games, sports, or athletics.
• If the educational certificate is not from the State or Central Board, it should be equivalent to a 12th class pass as per a Government of India notification.

Age Limit:

• Must Be Between 18 to 23 years
• Not born earlier than 02/08/2000 and not later than 01/08/2005.

Sports Qualification

Individual Event:

• Represented the country in Senior/Junior International tournaments
• Represented a State or equivalent unit in National Games/National Championships (Senior/Junior level)
• Won a medal in All India Inter-University Championships
• Won a Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship

Team Event:

• Represented the country in Senior/Junior International tournaments as a team member
• Represented the State team or equivalent unit in National Games/Championship (Senior/Junior level)
• Been a member of a medal-winning team in All India Inter-University Championships
• Won a Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship as a team member

Physical Standards for male Candidates

• Height: 167 cm
• Chest: 81-86 cm you need to expand more 5cm
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age, recorded at the time of physical measurements.

Physical Standards for Female Candidates

• Height: 153 cm
• Chest: No minimum requirement
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age, with the final decision on fitness made during the medical examination.

• Medical Standards:Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination.
• Candidates must meet the medical standards as per the guidelines for recruitment medical examination issued by the Government.
• Candidates should not have specific physical deformities and should be in good mental health.

Eye Sight:

• Near Vision: Better eye – N6; Worse eye – N9 (uncorrected)
• Distant Vision: Better eye – 6/6; Worse eye – 6/9 (uncorrected)
• Refraction: Visual correction will not be allowed, check glassed
• Colour vision: CP-III as per ISIHARA test
• Binocular vision is required.

Tattoo Criteria:

• Content: Tattoos depicting religious symbols or figures and names (as per Indian Army) are permitted.
• Location: Tattoos on traditional body sites like the inner aspect of the forearm (left forearm only) or dorsum of the hands are allowed.
• Size: The size of the tattoo must be less than 1/4 of the particular body part (elbow or hand).uivalent unit in National Games/Championship (Senior/Junior level)

CISF Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 Tests

Trial Test (20 marks):

• Identity verification upon reporting.
• Biometric registration to prevent impersonation.
• Trial Test in the specific sports event; qualifying with a minimum cut-off of 10 marks.
• Candidates not meeting the Trial Test cut-off will be eliminated.

Proficiency Test (40 marks):

• Qualified candidates from the Trial Test take the Proficiency Test in their chosen sport.
• Minimum cut-off for Proficiency Test is 20 marks.
• Candidates not meeting the Proficiency Test cut-off will be rejected.

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• Height, chest, and weight measurements.
• Candidates meeting physical standards proceed; weight-related eliminations happen during medical examination.
• Relaxations available with relevant certificates.
• Appeals for measurement can be made on the same day.
• The appellate authority’s decision is final, and no further appeals will be entertained.
