How To Apply

2. Have an Aadhaar card. Use the 12-digit Aadhaar number during registration. If you don’t have it yet, use the 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID (except for Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, and Assam applicants).
3. Ensure your name, father’s name, and birth date match your educational and sports certificates exactly.
4. If your name changed, provide legal documents. Update your new name in the online application.
5. Use an active mobile number and email ID. All communication will be through email/SMS.
6. Submit only one application for a discipline. Multiple applications will be rejected.
7. Keep your registration number for future correspondence.
8. Submit your application well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
9. Don’t send physical documents. Your application will be verified later.
10. Keep a printout of your application for the Selection Trial.

Important Instruction

• Check if you’re eligible before applying.
• Bring original documents for the trial, and they should be in English or Hindi.
• Be ready for trials on short notice.
• Railway employees are usually not transferred, but authorities can make exceptions.
• Selected candidates will undergo training where necessary. Male candidates appointed may be liable for active service in the Railway Engineers Unit of the Territorial Army.
• Initial appointment emoluments will include the minimum pay level and other allowances. During training, stipend may be paid. Security deposits and indemnity bonds may be required.
• The number of vacancies is provisional and can decrease or be canceled based on Railway Administration’s needs. Exam fees will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
• Pass a Medical Fitness Test, and your documents will be verified.
• You’ll need to pass a medical examination.
• Separate applications for multiple games/events.
• If you work for a PSU/Government, get a “No Objection Certificate.”
• Admission is provisional, and call letters don’t guarantee final selection.
• Sportspersons can apply for different levels but can’t claim higher levels based on previous achievements.
• Certificates for team events should show your actual participation.
• You may need to sign a 5-year “Service Bond.”
• Providing false information can lead to termination.
• You must be fit for the Central Railway Sports Association team.
• The selection committee’s decision is final; no inquiries or correspondence will be accepted.
