AAI ATC Syllabus 2023

Part-A:

• Total Questions: 60
• Total Marks: 60
• Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• Medium: Hindi / English (Bilingual)
• No negative marking

Part-A is divided into four sections with different weight age:

• English Language – 20 questions, 20 marks.
• General Intelligence / Reasoning – 15 questions, 15 marks (Weight age: 50%).
• General Aptitude / Numerical Ability – 15 questions, 15 marks.
• General Knowledge / Awareness – 10 questions, 10 marks.

Part-B:

• Total Questions: 60
• Total Marks: 60
• Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• Medium: Hindi / English (Bilingual)
• No negative marking

Part-B consists of questions related to the basics of Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, and the weight age for this part is 50%.

So, in total, you will have 120 questions with a total of 120 marks to be completed within 2 hours. There is no negative marking, and the examination is available in both Hindi and English.

AAI ATC Selection Process

• Candidates are required to thoroughly review the important instructions provided in the job advertisement.
  It is imperative that candidates confirm their eligibility and adhere to the specified norms.
• Eligible candidates will be invited to participate in an online examination.
  Notably, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, offering a fair testing environment.
  The syllabus and other essential details for the examination can be found in the “Press Note” associated with Advt No: 05/2023.
• Following the online examination, candidates may be subject to various additional tests, as deemed necessary by the competent authority during the recruitment process.
  These additional tests may include Application Verification, Voice Test, Psychoactive Substances Test, Psychological Assessment Test, Medical Test, and Background Verification.
• Candidates will undergo testing to detect the presence of psychoactive substances.
  The test results must be negative for a candidate to proceed in the selection process.
  In cases where a Non-Negative Screening Test result is obtained, a confirmatory test will be conducted. A positive result in the confirmatory test will result in disqualification.
• Based on their performance in the online examination, candidates will be shortlisted.
  Shortlisted candidates will then be called for further tests and verifications to assess their suitability for the role.
• During the application verification stage, candidates must present original certificates, proof of identity, and self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
  Failure to provide the necessary documents or discrepancies in the information provided will lead to the rejection of the
• Candidates who are presently employed by Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, or Public Sector Undertakings are required to obtain a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their current employer. The absence of this certificate at the time of Application Verification will result in the non-consideration of the candidate’s candidature.
• Provisional selection is based on merit, taking into account performance in the online examination and successful completion of additional tests and verification.
• Candidates who are provisionally selected will receive offer letters through their registered email IDs.
• Selected candidates will enter a training program, during which they will receive a basic salary along with other allowances.
  Candidates will be required to execute a surety bond committing to serve the Airports Authority of India during the training period and for a subsequent three-year period.
• During the training, candidates must attain a minimum proficiency level 4 (Operational) in ICAO language for the issuance of a license or rating. Failure to achieve this proficiency may result in termination of services.
• The final selection of candidates is provisional and is subject to document verification, background checks, and adherence to requirements such as caste certificates, EWS certificates, disability certificates, and other relevant criteria.
• Selected candidates must be prepared for potential posting anywhere in India.
