Geologist Group A (Geological Survey of India):
- You need a Master’s degree in subjects like Geology, Geological Science, Geo-Exploration, etc. from a recognized Indian university.
Geophysicist Group A - (Geological Survey of India) and Scientist B (Geophysics) (Central Ground Water Board):
- You should have an M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, or related fields from a recognized Indian university.
Chemist Group A (Geological Survey of India) and Scientist B (Chemical) (Central Ground Water Board):
- A Master’s degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry is required from a recognized Indian university.
For Scientist B (Hydrogeology) (Central Ground Water Board): - You need a Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or Hydro geology from a recognized Indian university.

How to Apply
- Online Application Website: Candidates should use the website
- Application Process: The online application has two parts: Part-I and Part-II. Detailed instructions for filling these parts are available on the website.
- Application Fee: Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 200 (except for SC/ST/Female/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates who are exempt). Payment can be made at any State Bank of India branch or online using Credit/Debit Card, UPI Payment, or Internet Banking.

- Application Dates: The online applications (Part I and II) can be filled from September 20, 2023, to October 10, 2023, until 6:00 PM
